Well, that’s it, Christmas is almost upon us so there will be no more classes now until 2018 when we start again on the 10th of January.
Looking back on 2017, I can honestly say that it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable year. We had a few people leave our class, which was a shame, but we also had a few new people join us, which was great! This means that I’ve been splitting my time in the class between getting the beginners up and running and getting the more established students a little further down the tai chi road. I try hard to make sure I give everyone as much of my time as I can and in the process, I find I am learning plenty too, simply because teaching makes me look closer at what I am doing and makes me more critical of myself. Hopefully, this will all help to make me a better teacher in the future.
So, before I sign off, I’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has attended my class this year, without you it would just be a rather lonely, slightly expensive training session! I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year. I look forward to seeing all the regulars come back on the 10th and if there are some new faces too, then that will be even better!
